Hosted at Roots Community Food Centre in Thunder Bay, the gathering opened with a Pipe Ceremony by Elder Gene Nowegejick. Four communities presented their food sovereignty initiatives, followed by group discussions on:
Gardening and Grow Towers
Community food access programs
Cooking and food education
Traditional and land-based food practices
The Traditional Harvesting Resource now includes:
Colouring Book (2023): Illustrated by Shelby Gagnon and distributed in print to participants at the 2024 Fall Gathering.
