Summary

Project 2b encompassed supporting the fourteen First Nation Communities to further develop and implement strategies/projects that will actualize their community food sovereignty visions developed in Project 2a of Understanding Our Food Systems. The project provided opportunities to network and learn while allowing integral community direction and support for the future of the project.

Connecting Partners

Connecting partners are organizations doing food, or food related, work in the region. In collaboration with the project team, connecting partners supported the fourteen First Nation communities in the implementation of initiatives and projects as per their expertise, while also providing an overall advisory and knowledge sharing role for the project team.
